Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 13 August 2026
This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service. It exists mainly to protect two things: the case-law corpus, and the other people using the service.
Do not extract the corpus
Our judgment database is the product of substantial work. You may read, search, cite and rely on judgments in the course of your practice. You may not:
- Scrape, crawl or bulk-download judgments, whether by script or by hand.
- Use automated tools to page through search results in order to build a copy.
- Redistribute, resell or republish the corpus or a substantial part of it.
- Remove or alter markings identifying material as originating from QanoonAI.
Daily viewing limits apply by plan, and access patterns consistent with extraction may be rate-limited or suspended.
Do not work around limits
- Do not create multiple accounts to exceed the limits attached to your plan.
- Do not share one account between several people. Each user needs their own.
- Do not attempt to reach parts of the API your role is not entitled to.
Do not misuse the AI
- Do not attempt to manipulate the AI into ignoring its instructions or into producing material it is designed to refuse.
- Do not present AI output as reviewed legal advice, or file it without a qualified professional checking it.
- Do not use the service to produce anything intended to deceive a court, a client or a counterparty.
Do not break the law or endanger the service
- No unlawful use, harassment, or infringement of anyone's rights.
- Do not upload malware, or content you have no right to upload.
- Do not probe, scan or load-test the service without our written permission. Genuine security research reported responsibly is welcome — see Data Security.
Enforcement
Where we can, we will contact you first and give you a chance to put things right. Serious or repeated breaches — extraction of the corpus in particular — may result in immediate suspension. Questions about whether something is permitted are welcome in advance at contact@qanoonai.pk; asking first is always cheaper than being suspended.
