Privacy Policy

QanoonAI is operated by Zensbot LLC. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, who else processes it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, phone number and role. If you register as a lawyer we also store your Bar Council identifier; if you are granted a judge account we store your court and designation.
• What you create in the product — clients, cases, hearings, calendar entries, notes, time entries, invoices, and any documents you upload.
• Your conversations with the AI — the questions you ask and the answers returned, so you can come back to them.
• Usage records — which features you use and how often, to enforce the limits attached to your plan and to bill correctly.
• Security records — sign-in times, IP address and browser, kept so we can show you your active sessions and investigate suspicious access.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not use the contents of your cases, documents or AI conversations to train any AI model, ours or anyone else's. We do not share your material with other users of the platform.

Where it is stored

Application data is held in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Amazon Web Services in the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region, and uploaded documents in Amazon S3 in the same region. Both are encrypted at rest using AES-256. Traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit.

Your data is separated from every other user's at the database level using PostgreSQL row-level security, not only by application logic — which means a query that forgets to filter returns nothing rather than someone else's file.

Who else processes it

• Anthropic — powers the AI features. The text of a question you ask is sent to Anthropic to generate an answer.
• Voyage AI — converts search queries into a mathematical form so we can find relevant judgments.
• Amazon Web Services — hosting, database and document storage.
• Vercel — serves the web application.
• Cloudflare — protects the service from attack and abuse.
• Resend — sends transactional email such as verification and password reset messages.
• PayFast — processes payments. We never see or store your card details.

Confidentiality

Material you place in QanoonAI may be subject to legal professional privilege. We treat it accordingly and access it only where necessary to operate or support the service, and where we are permitted to do so.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and its contents for as long as your account is open. If you close your account, tell us and we will delete your data. Some records may be retained where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@qanoonai.pk and we will respond.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
